Aggedor was a large, powerful creature, like a bear with the heads of boars. They had bony heads with a single horn on their forehead. They also had powerful tusks and sharp claws. (The Curse of Peladon, The Monster of Peladon) Since they lived in the caves of Peladon, they had poor eyesight and relied more on their sense of smell. (Legacy) Aggedors had a long lifespan and a long pregnancy, with one Aggedor being pregnant for a century. (The Bride of Peladon).
Aggedor was considered to a sacred symbol of Peladon. A symbol of nobility and power, Aggedor was the protector of the Peladonian king and the guardian of all of Peladon. His face was found on most things on the planet. The Temple to Aggedor was a sacred place and the punishment for defiling the temple was death. (E: Legacy)

The Aggedor the Doctor met had at least one child, which was kept secret for 150 years.
A century after her father’s death and a century after falling pregnant, she encountered the Fifth Doctor and Erimem near the crash site of Zixlyr’s spaceship. The Doctor used Erimem‘s signet ring to hypnotise and tame her. Later, the Doctor asked Grok to bring the Aggedor so she could be hypnotised to batter down the door to Sekhmet’s tomb. The attack on the door caused her to go into labour and she gave birth to baby Aggedors not long after. (The Bride of Peladon)
At some point, the Aggedor were fought on the moons of Gorgoror.
